Qingdao (China), CAHE - Husbandry Expo from the 18th to the 20th of May 2017.
Fieravicola is currently participating at the CAHE - Husbandry Expo in Qingdao (China), the largest livestock show in Asia organized by the China Animal Agriculture Association (CAAA) from the 18th to the 20th of May 2017.
Numerous meetings and appointments already took place in China, including the one with the Secretary General of the Poultry Association, Gong Guifen, as well as the signing of an agreement with the CAAA - China Animal Production Association, which provides for the welcoming of a Chinese delegation in July interested in visiting companies specialized in avian technologies and breeding farms.
Lately, they’ve been discussing the creation of an area reserved to China as a partner country at the next edition of Fieravicola in April 2019.
CAHE hosts 1200 exhibitors, including many foreigners and a strong presence of American companies at this edition. The success of the event is proof of how important this market is to the Italian poultry industry, with regards to the export of the finished product as well as the technologies and techniques of sustainable breeding.
In recent years, the Chinese government has tried to encourage the creation of larger facilities and of more efficient animal production systems. Big companies, as well as specialized farmers, started to invest in automatization, control systems and management of production facilities, biosecurity and disease prevention.
